POSITION REQUIREMENTS & DETAILS

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

• Work directly with Social Media Director 

• Help curate campaigns for social media (Instagram, Facebook, TW), surrounding artist releases, and Cat 5 Events (graphic design ideas, music promo)

• Find accounts to outreach on socials, by WOM, posting flyers, and professional reach

• Manage SoundCloud page analytics

ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

• Proficient with Microsoft Office - excellent written and oral communications skills

• Basic understanding of music copyright and music licensing

• Oversee the drafting and execution of our songwriter's agreements

• Oversee Cat 5 legal documents

DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS AFFAIRS

• Basic understanding of music copyright, music licensing, and PRO registration processes

• Point person to student and outside organizations for song placements

• Research publications IE: Film & Television Music Guide, Pitch Lists, and A&R Registry for opportunities and communicate them to our songwriters

• Assist songwriters with PRO and copyright registration as required

A&R MANAGER

• Proficient with SoundCloud, Spotify, and other streaming platforms (uploading our music)

• Direct point person for our songwriters

• Create  and coordinate press releases, media alerts, pitch letters, and other marketing materials in tandem with the creative director

• Manage the internal SoundCloud and Spotify channels in tandem with Social Media Director

Additional Requirements for all Staff​

• Mandatory Weekly meetings for Fall 2022, Thursdays 11 am - 12 pm

• All members work together and assist each other, regardless of position.

• Attend functions, events, and performances to provide support as needed

• Creative and professional writing, editing, and communication skills

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

• Understanding of Microsoft Office and Box
